a common housewife in the fast lane

It's all about the choices, baby

I know alot of you probably think I have lost my mind....or at least my religion. Neither is true, although I realize that convincing you of that may never happen, so I will not try very hard.

If you are still interested in being my friend, I am always interested in being yours. If not, then I wish you all the best that life has to offer.

Either way, I hope with all of my heart, that you will continue to pray for me and not give up on me. I'm sorry that some of you may be disappointed in the choices that I have recently made. Please know that I love you all dearly, that you are some of the best friends I have ever had in my whole entire life and that I will never, EVER, forget any one of you.

Hopefully I will make it back to this blog on occasion. Till then I leave you with one of my favorite songs. It comes straight from my heart to God Himself. I trust that you can say the same to Him.

I love you all. I always will.........

POH

 Spring and new beginnings

I know it's not spring here yet in New York....the crusty snow with bumpy ice underneath is a shure of that!  I'm just getting kinna sick of the whole 'season thing' at the moment.  People up here like to talk about how they just LOVE having four seasons and how living in San Diego would be so borrring with their 75 degree weather 12 months a year.

Well, I'm not too shure The Whitmeister would be too excited having POH move to HIS state but should I ever move away from my beloved lake, that is the only place that I would really want to go.  My one visit there is a highlight of my travels.

Anyway, I just had to change my background.....I needed something to pick me up during this gray time. I'm finally kicking that stupid flu and am getting healthy again.  I've gone swimming three times this week.  It took everything out of me, but I did it and having my new swimp3 player is just the BOMB! The sun was shining yesterday but I need me some more o' dat!  Roses are one of my absolute fave flowers (I have alot) and I couldn't believe it when I found this incredibly beautiful pink one.  For POH a pink rose is to die for.

Not ready to talk about it yet, but a fellow blogger is arriving at my house tomorrow........not for a visit per se.  For a new start in life.  I may or may not have more to say about that later.  I mention it only because I am aware that some bloggers already know about it and I want to forestall any controversy before it starts.  I am asking that if you have a negative opinion about what POH and Mr. Hope are doing by allowing this dear friend to stay here, that you keep it to yourself.   I am interested in opinions if I haven't formulated my stance yet.   Once my mind is made up though (and it is) I don't really abide negativity and bad confessions.  It only serves to frustrate me.  On the other hand, if you have something positive to contribute, or would like to let me know that you are praying for the situation I would LOVE to know that.

My whole adult life has been dedicated to bringing hope to the hopeless.  I am the prisonerofhope, amen?  Weeping may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

BTW, a special thank you to HeatherScot.  Love you girlfriend.  Without you this would never have happened.  Whatever else anyone has ever said to or about you, Heather, no one can say you don't have heart.  And what is life worth without that?  Keeemeeeere and gib POH a hug!  I've just been in SUCH a huggy mood lately, haven't I?

So!, here's to spring and new beginnings.

 Prayer Request

I have a prayer request that I was asked to pass on to all of you.

I talked to Randy420 today.  Things have been very up and down for him in recent months and most of you know about the mugging where his whole paycheck was stolen.  He has not been eating regularly and has lost quite a bit of weight.  On the upside, he has been working steadily and doing very well at his job.

Yesterday, however, his car broke down and he really doesn't have the money to get it fixed.  At this moment, he doesn't know how he's going to get to work.  Without the job, everything else falls apart.

As he doesn't have access to a computer, he has asked me to ask all of you to pray for him and I know you all well enough to know that you will.  Thank you for that.  I know that God has a plan for him...a plan to give him a hope and a future.  I think it's time to see that come to pass.
