Dr. Joseph Randall - Atlanta, Georgia

Dr. Joseph Randall operated an abortion clinic in Atlanta, GA, and estimates he performed 32,000 abortions. He used the dilation and evacuation (D&E) procedure. After the operation you have to reassemble that baby - arms, legs, head, chest - everything. That's when it got rough, even for old-timers like me. When you looked at an ultrasound, there was no mistaking that this was a baby. Ladies who came in for mid-trimester (four to six months of pregnancy) abortions were shielded from the images. Several nurses quit. They would bond with the baby they saw on the screen; they couldn't take it.

Dr. Randall finally stopped performing abortions when a Christian woman came to work in his office and convinced him of their immorality. He switched from doing abortions to volunteer counseling at a facility offering alternatives to abortion.

As a scientist I know, not believe, know that human life begins at conception.

Although I am not a formal religionist, I believe with all my heart that there is a divinity of existence which commands us to declare a final and irreversible halt to this infinitely sad and shameful crime against humanity.

What does the word ‘alive’ mean? How does the dictionary define it? More importantly, how does God define it? What does it mean to be alive?

Webster’s Dictionary:
”alive (a-liv’) a. having life; existent; active; thronged with (or to be massed together).

Didn’t we all have to take high school science? Isn’t life still life, even if we can’t describe it? An embryo, a fetus, even a ‘blood clot’, whatever you want to call it, is ALIVE! It is not dead. If it was dead it would exit the woman’s body with haste. Human bodies do not abide having something dead inside of it very long. This tiny, microscopic being may be, at least in the first several weeks, incomprehensible, but it is still alive. It is still a living thing, just like your kidney is a living thing and your liver is a living thing. Just because you can’t tell what it is under the microscope doesn’t mean it’s not alive. In biology class we stuck amoeba under the glass and looked at it wiggle around, didn’t we? Just because it didn’t look like much of anything doesn’t mean it wasn’t alive.

Some will say, ‘well, if you take the fetus out of the body it isn’t ‘viable’ so it must not be a ‘ real baby’. To be viable only means that something can live on it’s own. Well, neither can your eye live on it’s own. If you take your eye out of the socket, how long can it stay ‘viable’? Not very long, I dare say. But when it is in your body it has life and is very useful, as any blind man would tell you.

Even a full-term newborn baby, left to it’s own devices will not live very long apart from their mother. He/she certainly has the capability of living apart from being connected directly to it’s mother, but without a caretaker of some kind that small piece of precious humanity would die.

It would be ludicrous to say that a dog can give birth to a cat. Or a snake can beget a bird. Yet the argument has been foisted upon us that the ‘blood clot’ that is attached to a woman’s uterus in the beginning stages of pregnancy, the ‘blood clot’ that caused her monthly periods to stop, and started all her systems to go on overdrive, is not a ‘real baby’. What is it then? A parakeet? A baby dinosaur? What is causing her hormones to go nuts and her appetite to increase and her belly to swell? Just a bit of extra blood? I have had other disorders in my body and none have caused the complications and symptoms that I had with pregnancy. If I didn’t know I was pregnant, I would think something was seriously wrong with me!

I have been pregnant three times and three times I did nothing different upon finding out what was growing inside of me. In fact, for the first two months I didn’t even know I was pregnant! Even when I told the doctor to do a pregnancy test (this was way before one could figure it out at home with a kit from the drugstore) because I had not had a monthly cycle for two months he denied that there could be anything there as he had just done a physical exam. Some things are just hidden from us for a while.

His office called me two days later to tell me the happy, hopeful news. Okay, yeah, I started taking mammoth vitamin pills and those horrid iron tablets but other than that I did nothing different for nine months. My body sure started doing things differently though! For two solid months I threw up every day and couldn’t keep anything down. I lost 25 pounds before I finally started gaining some weight. I never had cravings during my pregnancies, but I must confess that after my appetite came back food sure started to taste good, better than it ever had, and I had to control myself so that I wouldn’t gain a lot of excess weight!

A blood clot could make me lose twenty five pounds? A simple blood clot could make me this hungry? Having experienced three full term births you will never convince me of this.

You will never convince me that the abortion doctors don’t know the difference too. They are throwing body parts away on a daily basis. How can they deny what their eyes see? I don’t believe it. I think they know exactly what they are doing and have hardened their hearts and seared their consciences as with a hot iron. Their spirits, the part of them that connects them to God, is dead. Dead as a doorknob. I can’t even bear to look at the pictures. How can they bear to handle the little arms, the tiny feet, and see the baby heads? God help us.

As one abortionist, Dr. Neville Sanders, was quoted, “We KNOW it is killing, but the state allows killing under certain circumstances."

Soooo, since it’s LEGAL, that makes it okay, right? Yeah, killing the Jews in Nazi Germany was legal too.

I have only one thing to add...God's Law is higher than man's law....and when the day comes for us to stand before the Great Judge and Jury I don't think He is going to care much for our puny argument that we didn't know. The Bible says that God's law is written on our hearts. Even the hearts of those who say they don't believe in Him. You might convince others.......you might even convince yourself. But your heart knew.....your heart knew.
